Heather
Heather’s Kundalini classes are designed to uplift, energize and create awareness. She emphasizes self-development and challenges her students. Her classes include breathwork, yoga exercises and meditation in a comfortable, stress-free setting. These techniques are designed to enable one to reach their full potential physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Heather intends to use Kundalini yoga to empower her students so that they can live in the world with a sense of groundedness and fulfillment. Kundalini yoga is a unique experience and can often be an awakening into a state of grace, intuition, and boundlessness.
In each class, a new series of yogic exercises work to address various conditions or imbalances, including stress, depression, respiratory problems, mental imbalances, weight concerns and patterns that no longer serve us.
Heather is a 3HO, Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) certified yoga teacher, and views this practice as a gift.
Jennifer

Jennifer is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from CorePower Yoga in San Diego, CA.
She was born and raised in Switzerland and has always been actively inclined. An avid contemporary and tap dancer, movement has always sparked her interest. Jennifer discovered yoga 6 years ago as a balance to a busy corporate job and to cultivate equanimity, reduce stress and find inner strength and peace. Ever since, she has been hooked. Jennifer offers a personal and individualized approach to teaching yoga, influenced by her experience as a practitioner of CorePower Yoga, Migros Klubschule and Anna Berabei in Switzerland. She is on a mission to increase mind/body awareness and widespread adoption of yoga to benefit all body types and fitness levels and offers consistent & personalized classes. Jennifer strives to make a difference in the yoga community.
Kaori

Kaori's yoga journey began in 2001. She has studied Ashtanga Yoga with variety of teachers, including Tim Miller and Dana Rae Pare, and is committed to making yoga a part of her everyday life.
She strongly believes in making yoga accessible to everyone from all backgrounds and levels. With her calming and nurturing quality, her Sunday class focuses on opening and freeing the body and mind, releasing stress, and finding the center to prepare for the week ahead. The practice is designed to bring physical, emotional, and spiritual balance into daily life.
Nicole

Nicole teaches self-love and self-healing which allow students to discover and embrace their inner bliss, true nature, and happiness through yoga. Her goal as a teacher is to help students to discover and embrace their inner peace while immersing themselves in an everlasting state of love and acceptance.
It is through her open-minded approach to life that she encourages others to see the positive as she strives to be a vehicle for growth, self-understanding and overall peace of mind.
In her women’s class, ladies will integrate Universal Teachings of Love, Light and Unity as well as embrace connection with Mother Earth, Divine Spirit and the Inner Light within. Yoga gives a woman the opportunity to spend time dedicated to herself, connecting to inner strength and the divine potential within. Regular practice of yoga keeps women fit physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
She is very excited to be joining the community here at North Park Fitness and looks forward to assisting you in deepening your appreciation of yoga as you connect to the divine bliss that resides inside of you to inspire and align the body, mind, and spirit.
Rachel

Rachel has been a student of various styles of yoga since 1999, and became a certified teacher in 2009. She did her training in the Anusara style of yoga and has trained extensively with top Anusara teachers.
The aim in her classes is to introduce light-hearted themes so that students may experience opening of the heart space, while finding freedom and strength in the physical body and mind. Her classes focus on optimal body alignment so that students can creatively work at their own pace towards more advanced poses, while keeping themselves safe.
Flow classes give us the opportunity to sweat while taking time to dissect and make any adjustments needed to increase awareness of the subtle energies in the body. “My goal is to empower my students to use yoga as a tool to facilitate and maintain overall well-being and to cultivate clear, loving, and healthy relationships with themselves and the world in which we live.” Namaste
Shanna

Shanna's lighthearted and pragmatic approach to yoga is inspired by an eclectic blend of influences and traditions. With a sense of humor and playfulness, Shanna emphasizes the inner wisdom that is present in us all.
Shanna is Yoga Alliance certified (200 hours) and she continues to expand her knowledge of yoga, meditation, and anatomy through continuing education and self-directed learning.
Tim
Tim’s approach to yoga is very practical and down-to-earth, drawing from common human needs and experiences.
His classes focus strongly on calming the intellect and opening the heart. Special attention is brought to the nuances of alignment, stability, and balance. He strives to create an environment that liberates his students’ sense of curiosity and self-exploration, instilling a keener sense of body-awareness.
He values elements that cultivate confidence, and enable others to develop the strength to move with more grace and flexibility. He seeks to provide a supportive and creative class where gems of inspiration are unearthed when we least expect them. Tim is also able to communicate to students through American Sign Language.
